Hello – I am Dr. Eggs. In a recent project I worked to investigate a wave of office zombie attacks. Reports had surfaced of a new threat… one that was striking innocent office workers… turning them into mindless zombies. Could it be stopped? Could it be cured? Answering these questions became my quest.
After working diligently for several weeks I made very good progress and learned much about this wave of office zombieism. Reports had been gathered, organized, collated, and assembled into binders for easy reference. Hypotheses were created and experiments conducted.
Initial indications showed that extreme office boredom was involved in this zombie outbreak and so I enlisted the assistance of an expert in bringing good cheer to the office to combat boredom. Julie Cruise is her name and she dispenses advice on making work environments more fun from her Facebook page, The Office of Good Cheer.
A breakthrough came about after video from a security camera caught the actual transformation from office worker to office zombie involving an office worker named Mike Brohdum. Adding to our information were the helpful tweets from Mike while this was occurring. From all indications, it was in fact boredom – but boredom specifically caused by the repeated use of office shredders!
With Julie’s help we were able to devise a cure – replace the office shredders with document shredding services from Iron Mountain!
